Beach School Foundation

As the current chair of the Beach School Foundation, I welcome you to our Web site. Please take some time to learn about us and our mission. We are dedicated to maintaining quality education for Lummi Island children at Beach Elementary School.

We work with the Beach School Staff and Parent Teacher Organization to ensure stable funding and unique learning opportunities. We came together in the spring of 2009 when school district budget cuts threatened the continuation of a K-6 program at Beach.

Islanders responded quickly and generously, raising enough money to maintain our wonderful staff and curriculum. The Beach School Foundation exists now to make sure we never face a crisis of that magnitude again.

We sponsor fund-raisers, we seek grants, and we participate in the legislative process. We invite you to participate in our support of Beach School in any way you see fit. Donations are tax-exempt, and gratefully accepted, but money is just one way to help.
